Cloutier at the main event of the 2000 World Series of Poker for $1.5 million.

Ferguson got the nickname "Jesus" because of his long brown hair and beard which resemble Jesus Christ. When he plays, he often sits motionless during a hand so his opponents cannot get a read on his hand. His popularity soared on television during ESPN broadcasts of the World Series of Poker when he was shown throwing poker cards across a room at blazing speeds which cut through different fruit including bananas, carrots, and melons. Chris Ferguson is also known to have grinded $1 online up to $20,000 to prove that good bankroll management and good play can make a player successful even if they do not start with a lot of money.
